The Fifth Era

Calim crested the final hill, and saw spread before him the sprawling metropolis of Moonhaven.  It had been a long journey, but he was home.  Once he passed the gates of the Magic city, Lelinia's troops would have no choice but to turn back.

Rules

These pages contain rules that I use in my campaigns, such as house rules and major mechanical changes to the game.  These rule changes are not world-specific, and could easily be dropped in to other settings without modification.

Changes to core classes

Most races work as listed in the Player's Handbook, with the following exceptions.  Most of these are added for campaign flavor, rather than for balance.

Setting

These pages contain content that describes the Dalleth setting in more detail.  Much of it is descriptive in nature, but you will also find new content (classes, etc) here.

The 'rules' section is for changes or extensions to gameplay mechanics that are not necessarily specific to Dalleth.

Mage Sense

You possess a special connection with the god of magic that allows you to see magical auras.

Time

The intelligent beings of Dalleth have created a Solar Calendar that separates the year into eight months of six weeks each. A week consists of 5 days, the latter two of which are the weekend. The days are named Fredas, Surion, Meleth, Temachus, and Weren.

Ayar

Alignments: Lawful, Good
Domains: sun, good, protection, law, war
Holy Symbol: a sun with eight rays emanating from it
Favoured Weapon: two-bladed sword
Regions: Arrudia

God of the Sun, Ayar is the lord of the deities, ruling over all from his celestial perch high in Varealm.  Standing for valour and justice, Ayar is opposed to all evil and corruption, a bastion of goodness and a model of the law.  Ayar is known as the Bringer of Sunflame, and is depicted as a tall man wreathed in the flames of the sun.

Languages in Dalleth

Every character in Dalleth starts the game with two automatic languages, common and a racial language. In addition, any of the languages described here are available as bonus languages when the racial language is normally available, at the DM's discretion.

House Rules

The following is a list of all current house rules for the Dalleth Campaign Setting.
A "house rule" is anything that modifies the or adds to the standard game mechanics.

Classes

Under this heading you can find information about the various classes unique to Dalleth, divided into Core, Variant, and Prestige classes.
